RJS Waste Management Supports Local Communities

The Berin Centre

RJS Waste Management UK Ltd is proud to support The Berin Centre as our chosen charity for 2026.

Based in Berinsfield, South Oxfordshire, The Berin Centre has been part of the local community for over 40 years. Originally established in the 1980s to support employment and training opportunities, the organisation has continually evolved to meet the changing needs of the community it serves.

Today, The Berin Centre operates as a vibrant community hub, providing support to children, families and individuals across all age groups. Its services include family support, early years provision, activities for young people and adults, and practical initiatives such as the weekly Community Larder.

Their work offers a consistent and welcoming point of support within the community, responding to real, everyday needs and helping to create stronger local connections.

At RJS Waste Management, we recognise the importance of organisations like The Berin Centre and are proud to support their ongoing work throughout 2026.

Oxford United Football Club

The connection with Oxford United forms part of a wider commitment to supporting organisations that bring people together.

Over time, this has included matchday sponsorship at the Kassam Stadium, creating opportunities for team members, clients and the local community to be part of the matchday experience.

In 2025, RJS Waste Management also sponsored midfielder Matt Phillips, strengthening that association.

Oxford Rising Stars

RJS Waste Management supports the Oxford Rising Stars, an ice hockey club focused on developing players and creating a clear pathway between junior and senior level competition.

Co-founded by the Managing Director of RJS Waste Management, the club plays a key role in growing the sport locally while giving emerging players the opportunity to progress and compete at NIHL2 level.

Supporting Local Initiatives

RJS Waste Management UK Ltd is committed to supporting local initiatives that bring communities and businesses together.

In 2026, we co-hosted a Summer Golf Day at Goodwood alongside Olympus Recruitment, welcoming clients, partners and local businesses for a day of networking and collaboration in a relaxed setting.

As keen golfers, we also support local charity golf days through hole sponsorship and event participation. This has included supporting an Oxford Property Consultants event, helping raise funds for Be Free Young Carers, a charity supporting young people with caring responsibilities across the region.

These events provide an opportunity to connect with others while contributing to causes that make a meaningful difference locally.

Our Approach

We focus on long-term involvement, supporting organisations and initiatives that align with our values and the communities we work within.
