About The Course

This Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Workers course has been approved by the CITB and Build UK and is aligned to the Build UK Training Standard, enabling employers to access the CITB levy. Having Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) approval means the course equips delegates with the knowledge and skills required to be eligible for the Green Labourer Card – allowing them to work on construction sites in entry-level positions.

RJS offer this as a 1-day, classroom-based, course at either our premises in Chichester or at another suitable venue. All our venues have strict Covid-19 measures in place for your well-being and safety and our Tutor’s ensure compliance with the latest Government rules and regulations.

Who The Course Is For

This course is for anyone who works on or around a construction site or has cause to visit the site in the course of their work.

Every worker needs an understanding of their safety and health responsibilities and it is the duty of the employer to provide staff with the training to ensure their site is fully compliant with safety, health and environmental regulations.

Delegates who successfully complete this 1 day training course can apply for a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Labourer Card once they have also applied for and passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Operatives Test
