About The Course

This Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) training course is for anyone who works on, or regularly visits, construction sites. It is the duty of employers to provide their employees with training that helps them understand their health and safety responsibilities to ensure their site is fully compliant.

This one-day course is approved by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and aligned to the Build UK Training Standard, enabling employers to access the CITB levy.

Having Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) approval means the course will also equip delegates with the knowledge and skills required for a Labourer card eligibility. This allows them to work on construction sites in entry-level positions. Delegates who successfully complete this health and safety training course can apply for a CSCS Labourer card once they have also applied for and passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test.

RJS Waste Management offers this IOSH training course as classroom-based training at either our premises in Chichester or at another suitable venue. The course takes one day to complete but can be delivered in timeslots that suit your business. All our venues have strict Covid-19 measures in place and our tutors ensure compliance with the latest government rules and regulations.
