RJS was commissioned to provide an end to end strip-out service in a small commercial unit.
First, our qualified surveyors conducted an asbestos survey of the site and identified a large amount of asbestos containing materials, particularly in insulating board lining the walls.
Next we removed a large amount of metal racking from both the ground floor and mezzanine, dismantling it carefully and moving it to skips to be recycled.
As the insulating board on the walls is a notifiable material we arranged for licensed operatives to strip it out according to HSE guidance.
We also removed asbestos containing floor tiles and textured coatings from the interior areas.
